Never thought I’d be in this situation, but here we are. Someone is threatening to release personal info unless I pay up, and I don’t know how to deal with it. Part of me wants to just ignore it and hope they go away, but that might backfire. On the other hand, paying doesn’t guarantee they’ll stop. Has anyone successfully handled something like this? I could really use some guidance right now.
